Jacob Morrison on the move aboard his Kawasaki KX250F at RedBud in 2005. This was fairly early on in Jacob’s pro racing career. The Massachusetts racer was a true privateer, the proverbial man with a van and a plan, often wrenching on his own machines between motos, yet he still managed to be a steady qualifier at the nationals for nine years starting in 2004. His best national result came at Unadilla in 2008 when he scored a solid 13th-place overall in the premier 450 class. (Larry Lawrence photo)
