Dale Quarterley Running with the Big Dogs at Sears Point (1994)

A great capture of Dale Quarterley on his Ninja Turtles Kawasaki Superbike at the 1994 AMA Superbike race at Sears Point (now Sonoma Raceway). Dale was up against a whole gaggle of factory machines that season, yet he still managed strong finishes all year. Here at Sears for example he took 7th, ahead of about six factory bikes. And 7th was where Dale finished in the final standings that season riding for his his own independent entry. (Colin Fraser photo)
