Motorcyclists have long known about the beautiful roads that carve up and over the mountain ridges of western North Carolina. Some of most spectacular and scenic riding in the country can be had in this region of the country. What some may not know is that a little slice of heaven awaits enthusiasts in a little town at the foot of the Blue Ridge called Maggie Valley. That slice of heaven is called the Wheels Through Time Museum founded and run by Dale Walksler.
Walksler is a dynamo. Enthusiastically guiding people through the museum to some of the rarest motorcycles on earth, he talks a mile a minute. The knowledge Walksler has on the history of motorcycling is second to none.
If you’re ever in the Blue Ridge you must take the time to stop by the Wheels Through Time.

A small part of the Wheels Through Time Museum. A must-see stop for fans of motorcycling.
I thought WTT had shutdown until a recent forum post said otherwise. Got to make it a point to get by there this year !!
