Super Hunky Still Kickin’

Super Hunky finds the right tool for the job.

Super Hunky finds the right tools for the job.

If you were into off-road riding in the ’70s and ’80s you know doubt came across the writings of Rick “Super Hunky” Sieman at some point.

The father of American off-road motorcycle magazines, Sieman ended one of his tenures at Dirt Bike magazine by picking up an IBM Selectric typewriter and throwing it through a second story window – this after being asked to alter one of his shoot-out test articles. As for being the author of one of the best-selling off-road motorcycling books of all-time – the hilariously, titled “Monkey Butt” – Sieman says, “Reading “Monkey Butt” is one of the officials signs of brain damage. There are seven officials warning signs of brain damage – the other six I can’t remember.”

Rick just sent me this note on his website:

Big news! In about a month, our website will undergo some massive changes.  You’ll be able to have free dirt bike classified ads. That’s right, anything to do with dirt bikes,   riding gear, parts, trailers and haulers will be included in the freebie ads.

In addition, the Don’t Ask column from Off-road.com will appear every month in the new site. Also, there’ll be a Q. and A. forum for the readers and a whole bunch of new stories and features by Matt Cuddy and yours truly. So come on back and take a look at what we have in store.  That’s www.superhunky.com Bookmark it!
