U2’s drummer Larry Mullen Jr. is a motorcyclist and motorcycle racing fan and he’d always wanted to come see the races at Daytona. In 1989 he finally got the chance and came to Florida, to experience Bike Week. Here Mullen (in the leather jacket) is pictured with Brian Catterson, who at the time was an editor at Cycle News. Today Catterson is the Editor-in-Chief at Motorcyclist.
