Shawn Nicoloff (66) leads Paul Bray (5), Scott Zampach (204) and Scott Russell (behind Zampach) in a WERA B Superstock race at Grattan Raceway Park circa 1989. This was a Suzuki contingency race and it was Russell who worked his way to the front to win the race over Bray, Zampach and Nicoloff.

Hi Larry, I found it neat this picture of Paul Bray came up just after the amazing story/video about Doug Henry. A couple months ago a friend called with the good news she finally sold her Gold Wing. Turns out the buyer was Paul Bray. He does not “trike” his street bikes. He has a deal with wheels that come out via push button at stops. Wish more of us had what Doug and Paul have.

That’s fantastic to hear about Paul. It was such a sad story when he was hurt because he had the talent to go far, perhaps national or world champ. I heard Paul was running a business. I need to do a story on him in my Cycle News column.
Thanks for passing on th good news.
Larry
