If you don’t know Jessca Zalusky’s story do yourself a favor and go to  her website and read about her brave recovery from a stroke. I had the opportunity to do some media work with Jessica during my time as AMA Superbike media manager. She was not only fast on the track, but an excellent representative of the sport.  A year ago Jessica had knee surgery causing a blood clot that traveled to her brain. She lost the use of the left side of her body. For an athlete this is a devastating setback, but if you read her progress you’ll understand the very definition of determination. I don’t mind admitting that her posts at times have brought on tears. She’s now well on her way to a remarkable recovery. Her riding school website is www.zaluskyridingschool.com.
