Pocono AMA Battle of the Twins Podium (1982)

AMA Battle of the Twins legend Jimmy Adamo takes center stage of the podium finishers of the 1982 Pocono Battle of the Twins race. Jimmy won the race going away on his Leoni Ducati. Next to Jimmy is his equally legendary tuner Reno Leoni (Arai shirt). Runner up on this day was Dave Roper (71), who raced the Robison’s Harley-Davidson backed Harley. Holding Dave’s helmet is Joe Robison and standing behind him is tuner John Ward. Dave was filling in for the injured Hal Coleman. Rounding out the podium was Malcolme Tunstall (266) racing the Syd’s Cycle Ducati. That’s Syd (Malcolme’s dad) standing behind Malcolme. (Rich Chenet photo)
