Barn Burner Short Track Lives Up to its Name (1997)

OK now this is what you call close racing! It’s the Barn Burner Short Track event in San Jose, California in November of 1997. This photo shows Brad Spencer (7N) getting the turn first ahead of Paul Iwanaga and Rod Spencer in the F-100 Vet class race. Rod worked his way from third to win this race. Just a really cool photo from what looked like a crazy fun event. (Mykeal Clark photo)
