In 1988 Sweden’s Anders Andersson was racing the Daytona 200 for the third time. It appeared that race might be the charm for the Ohlins suspension test rider. He finished second in his Heat race, which gave him a spot on the grid for the lucrative Camel Challenge. And then in the 200 Anders was running a strong fourth when the motor on his Suzuki went south. Here Anders is running ahead of Canadian Superbike standout Rueben McMurter. (Henny Ray Abrams photo)
