I have the privilege of being at the very beginning of digitizing and preserving the photo collection of Rich Chenet. Rich is one of the very best shooters in the business, so good in fact that auto racing dominated most of his time, but Rich loved shooting motorcycle racing and when he brought his special talents to the sport he always produced spectacular results. Here’s a classic Peoria TT image of Rich’s with an interesting mix of riders from the 1988 edition of the venerable TT National. That’s Mike Ragan (84) up front with Scott Pearson (95) giving chase. Hidden behind Ragan are Keith Day and Doug Chandler. A click back is Eric Graybeal (87P) in a qualifying race. I probably won’t be able to share as many of Rich’s photos as I do from other collections, but every once in awhile I hope to give a you a glimpse into his amazing collection. (Rich Chenet photo)
