This is what passed for a Supercross podium back in the day. It’s the 1980 Oakland Supercross with race winner Kent Howerton being interviewed with fellow Suzuki factory rider Mark Barnett (left), who finished third, standing next to him. Runner up Steve Wise (right), factory Honda rider seems to be contemplating what he might have done differently to possibly win the race.
