Kees van der Ven racing his factory-backed KTM 500 during the 1989 FIM 500cc Motocross World Championship season. Kees earned three podium finishes in the series that year, including scoring victory in the Swedish GP. The Dutchman ended ’89 ranked 8th in the 500cc World Championship. (Alex Hodgkinson photo)
