Dougie Lampkin tackles a rocky section in Spain’s Guadarrama Mountains aboard his Beta at the opening round of the 1996 World Championship Observed Trials Series. The mountains overlooking Navacerrada served as a picturesque setting for the event and 10,000 fans came out to watch. Lampkin had an off weekend in Spain that year, but he came back strong to finish runner up in the world champion to Marc Colomer.
