Steve Stackable’s Ventilated Maico Jersey (1977)

The opening round of the 1977 AMA 500cc National MX Series at Lake Whitney was held in temperatures over 110 degrees. Steve Stackable gave Maico its first AMA National win that day. It looks like Steve cut up his racing jersey for better ventilation. Steve finished 3rd in the ’77 AMA 500cc Motocross National Championship.
