An all-Belgian 500cc MX podium at the 2001 Grand Prix of the Netherlands at Valkenswaard with winner Joel Smets (center), runner up Stefan Everts (left) and third place Marnicq Bervoets (right). In the end these three riders finished 1-2-3 in the FIM 500cc Motocross World Championships with Everts becoming world champ over Smets and Bervoets. (Mitch Friedman photo)
