David Pingree racing in a Glen Helen warm-up race prior to the 1999 Glen Helen AMA 125cc Motocross National on his Primal Impulse/Bill’s Pipes Suzuki RM125. In the national “Ping” clipped a downed Robbie Skaggs who fell in the first turn in the first moto. The impact wrapped the bike’s brake lever around the footpeg on Pingree’s Suzuki, so he had to ride the whole moto with his right foot off the peg.
