Alex Barros acknowledges fans during the Spanish Grand Prix weekend at Jerez in 1994. The weekend Barros raced to one of his better finishes of the season on his Lucky Strike Suzuki RGV500, finishing fourth. Barros had a long and fruitful career in Grand Prix racing, starting in 1986 and going all the way through to 2007. He was a contender all the way to the end of his career, scoring a podium at the Italian Motorcycle Grand Prix at Mugello in his final season of GP racing. (Dean Adams/SuperbikePlanet.com photo)
