Thomas Wilson ripping around Grattan Raceway during a WERA Endurance race in July of 1991. Wilson gradually worked his way up through the club racing ranks all the way until he earned a factory Superbike ride with Harley-Davidson. At a rainy Mid-Ohio in 1996 Wilson gave the Harley-Davidson VR1000 Superbike its best ever finish when he took second to Pascal Picotte. Wilson made it to the highest level of road racing in America by grinding out hundreds of racing miles in endurance races like these, riding in all conditions. You can tell by the condition of his leathers that he earned it the hard way. That may be something missing in the resume of many American road racers today. 📷Larry Lawrence #thomaswilson#superbike#weraracing#enduranceracing#grattanraceway#gsxr#suzuki
