Kelly Smith blasting out of a turn aboard his Boost Mobile/Yamaha of Troy Racing Yamaha YZ250F during the FMF Nationals at Kenworthy’s Motocross Park in Troy, Ohio, in July of 2004. It was the home race for the powerful Yamaha of Troy squad. Smith went (19-13) for 18th overall that day, a bit subpar for the rider from Ludington, Michigan, especially considering he earned six top-10 results in the outdoor nationals that season, including a podium (3rd) at Unadilla. Smith finished the season ranked 13th in the AMA Chevy Trucks 125cc Pro Motocross Championship. 📷Larry Lawrence
