Scott Russell (4) is leading the way on a factory Yamaha YZF750R followed by teammate Colin Edwards (45), Doug Chandler (1), Steve Crevier (14), Tom Kipp (16), Larry Pegram (72), Mat Mladin (66), Gerald Rothman, Jr. (67), Aaron Yates (20), Michael Taylor (15), Tripp Nobles (87), Paul Harrell (74), Mark Miller (24) and others. Russell went on to win the race over Chandler and Edwards. Canadians Crevier and Pascal Picotte rounded out the top five.
