Peter Jones races the Team Swine Dudes Suzuki Katana 600 at Indianapolis Raceway Park during a Kerker/SBS WERA National Endurance race in October of 1990. Jones and his teammates finished third in their class that day. Swine Dudes (later renamed Pearls Suzuki) went on to become one of the leading WERA National Endurance teams and won three class championships. Jones later became a writer. He was the final editor of the excellent American Roadracing, a monthly road racing publication that originally began as a WERA newsletter. To my mind Jones is one of the best writers in motorcycling today. Click here to read recent examples of his work.
