Ride in Peace: racer, industry veteran Dane Leimbach

Longtime motorcycle racer Dane Leimbach died Nov. 16 of complications from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease. He was 60. Among his career milestones, Leimbach was the highest-placing American rider in the 1971 ISDT held on the Isle of Man, finishing eighth in the 100cc class.
