KTM’s RC8R made an impressive AMA Superbike debut Saturday at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course with Superbike first-timer Chris Fillmore at the controls. Fillmore rode a solid race, taking seventh, just inches away from Larry Pegram in sixth. The bike looked incredibly well sorted out for a debut race, perhaps owing to the experience KTM has in the German Superbike Series. In addition to having a great debut the bike looks incredible. You could see fans pointing to it when it went by. It definitely left a good impression and should raise the recognition level of the motorcycle considerably in the country.
