A beast for sure. I rode one once. It was all motor. I was stunned how much faster it was than my GS750.

Great picture! Mike is now racing Supermoto and uses the same cornering technique. He’s fast and rarely takes his feet off the pegs.

Glad you found the site. The shot was from Road America during a rare WERA race there, I’m guessing 1984. The caption on the back just has team name, your name and says an oil pump went out on the bike ending the race for you guys. This would be turn eight, the tight left-hander just before the Carousel.
