The first two years of Project 250 are complete.

Interestingly it was Jim Varnes who was the mythical champion of the first season of AMA 250cc road racing in 1963 on a Ducati. Varnes is the father of Grand National flat tracker Kevin Varnes.

In 1964 the mythical 250 champ was Al Gunter on a Yamaha.
