Hey Larry, Just realized how much the look of dirt track racing has changed so much. Even from the back. Jerseys,not leathers. High pipes, stock frames. You know I like the old look but time rolls on!!! Great photo.

I wouldn’t be suprised if Ricky Graham and Bubba Shobert were the first to don the MX gear at the Grand National… It would be something the Factory Honda Team would require their riders to wear. Just like the old Factory Honda MX Teams used to wear all the same riding gear.

I don’t know if the AMA had to approve MX gear at Grand Nationals. It would be interesting to know. I know Supermoto had a mix of leathers and MX gear early on. It eventually went to pretty much all MX gear.
