Here’s another classic AMA Grand National racing photo from an old Steve Morehead press kit. This is from the early 1990s showing defending champ Chris Carr (1) leading Scotty Parker (2), Ricky Graham (3) and Steve Morehead (42). This type of multi-bike drafting is common in Grand National racing, especially on the Miles. In this one it looks like Morehead is getting such a good pull that he’s checking up a bit.
