Wey Fast

Nick Wey speeds past on his factory Suzuki at the Troy (Ohio) National in 2004. Kenworthy Motocross Park, built on the flat flood plain of the Great Miami River, was often called an outdoor Supercross for its monstrous man-made double and triple jumps. Wey finished ninth overall that day in Troy, one of his ten top-10 finishes in the outdoor nationals that year. His consistency put him seventh in the final 2004 AMA Motocross Championship standings.  This was the last year for the Troy National. The race was discontinued leaving Ohio without a scheduled outdoor national for the first time since 1986.
