Chuck Graves, Rich Oliver and Robbie Petersen stand on the podium after a WERA Formula-USA Series race at Moroso Motorsports Park in West Palm Beach, Florida. Oliver and Petersen were riding Marlboro/Roberts Yamaha 500cc GP bikes. Graves was on a very fast big-bore Suzuki GSXR that he built himself.

This slide is also a testament to my trusty Nikon V scanner. The slide was so under-exposed that you could hardly tell there was an image on the film at all. The scanner and software was still able to find enough detail to pull out an image. In the old days this slide would have just been discarded as junk. While the photo is far from perfect and shows some serious color shift, in the hands of someone skilled at Photoshop a better final image could likely be produced.
