Stefano Caracchi leads David Busby in the 1989 Daytona 250 Grand Prix race. Caracchi was one of the top Italian 250 Grand Prix riders of the 1980s. He was 125cc European Champion in 1984 and also rode a Ducati in World Superbike before becoming a team owner. In 2006 his World Superbike Team Ducati SC fielded Roberto Rolfo aboard a 999RS in World Superbike, and Stuart Easton and Luka Nedog on 749Rs in World Supersport. Busby moved on to auto racing where he had some success.
