Chuck Sun Leads at Mid-Ohio Trans-USA (1980)

• Larry Lawrence
What an epic shot of Chuck Sun (63) blasting into the lead early at the Mid-Ohio Trans-USA race during the Fall of 1980. Also on the gas near the front are Goat Breker (40), Mark Barnett (10), Donnie Hansen (186), Gaylon Mosier (14), Dave Hollis (79) and Marty Smith (26) flying over the lip of a berm. Great stuff from the lens of Tom Mueller. Barnett scored the win. (Tom Mueller photo)
