Have been scanning Tom Mueller’s photos from the 1980 Atlanta Supercross recently. Here’s a good one with Kip Bigelow (94) – one of the four racing Bigelow brothers – getting a great jump at the start of a Semi inside Fulton County Stadium. Others in the shot include Frank Stacey (39), Jimmy Weinert (6), Daniel Conway (68), Mark Rakestraw (57) and Jeff Ward (19). Weinert beat fellow Kawasaki rider Ward to the checkered flag in this race.
