Tipp City, Ohio’s Robert Shoup gassing his Suzuki RM400 though a turn at High Point Raceway during the AMA 500cc Motocross National there in 1978. Shoup had a handful of top-20 national finishes in the few nationals he raced in the late 1970s, including here in Mt. Morris where he finished 20th overall.
