Rocket Launch at Red Bud for Ryan Villopoto (2006)

Ryan Villopoto gets a great launch out of the gate at the 2006 Red Bud Motocross National in the Lites class (now 250cc class) aboard his Monster/Pro Circuit Kawasaki. That’s fellow Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider Troy Adams (323) right beside Ryan and Andrew Short (29) on the factory Honda there on the left. On the right are Andrew McFarlane (124) on the Boost Mobile/ Yamaha of Troy bike and Mike Alessi (800) aboard the Red Bull KTM. Villopoto scored the overall that day with a 1-2 ahead of Alessi (3-1) and McFarlane (2-4). (Larry Lawrence photo)
