Legendary tuner Stuart Toomey and Rich Schlachter stand on the grid of the 1984 Loudon National. Schlachter was in a tight battle for second with Randy Renfrow and Nicky Richichi when Richichi and Renfrow came together. Unfortunately, Schlachter was caught out with no place to go, hit Richichi’s bike and went down and was out of the race. (Michael Pons photo)
