Miles Baldwin racing his Yamaha TZ750 at Laguna Seca in 1983. This is the way Milo’s bike looked much of the time, sans fairing with all the guts of the beastly two-stroke hanging out. I never knew why Miles ran his bike like this. Was it a time-saving function, weight savings, lack of funds to replace fairings, engine cooling issues? If anyone knows please leave a comment.
