Jeremy McGrath’s Holeshot King Coming to DAYTONA

Bike Week At DAYTONA Presented by GEICO will kick off the high-intensity thrills Friday night

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Feb. 27, 2026) – Bike Week is back at Daytona International Speedway, but with a new addition to the packed lineup of racing. Jeremy McGrath’s Holeshot King will kick off Bike Week At DAYTONA Presented by GEICO with high intensity racing tonight, Friday, February 27 at 7:00 p.m.

The Holeshot King is a throwback to classic motorcross racing where being the fastest is the only thing that matters. Two riders will face off simultaneously in a friendly, best two-out-of-three racing competition of pure speed.

“Jeremy McGrath’s Holeshot King is the perfect way to kick off all the festivities for the 85th Annual Bike Week At DAYTONA Presented by GEICO,” said Frank Kelleher, President of Daytona International Speedway. “Fans can expect this special head-to-head showdown to produce intense competition as the top riders battle it out for holeshot supremacy at The World Center of Racing.”

Beginning at 7:00 p.m. tonight, 10-12 riders will square off during an hour-long event. The drag strip will be a 200-foot grass straightaway directly in front of the Supercross course. In the matter of seconds, riders will go from standstill to full throttle as they battle down to the very last inch.

This event is exclusively open for campers only. The Hard Rock Bet Fanzone will open at 5:30 p.m. with a live DJ on stage in front of the drag strip.

Bike Week is back at Daytona International Speedway for 10 days of intense on-track action featuring DAYTONA Supercross and the DAYTONA 200. The World Center of Racing will host American Flat Track, MotoAmerica King of the Baggers Championship, The Twins Cup Championship and the Mission Super Hooligan National Championship.

The 2026 DAYTONA Supercross event is the only Supercross event in the state of Florida on this year’s schedule. Veteran rider Ken Roczen captured the 450SX victory in his 11th attempt at glory at DAYTONA last year.

The 2026 DAYTONA 200 will be the 84th running of the MotoAmerica Racing event. Last year, Josh Herrin not only claimed his fourth career DAYTONA 200 victory but also made Ducati the first manufacturer to ever win three straight DAYTONA 200 titles.
