Italian racer Giorgio Cantalupo (4) races his Ducati through the chicane at Daytona during the AMA Pro Twins (Battle of the Twins) race in March of 1990. Cantalupo ran as high as third early in the race, but must have experienced some issue, either mechanical or a crash, and he finished 23rd, three laps down from the leaders. Cantalupo was an Italian Superbike regular and sometimes Superbike World Championship racer. That looks like Frenchman Thierry Cupillard in the background.
