Tony Gomez returned from a three-week layoff because of injury at Carlsbad and won both motos of the 250cc Pro class Wednesday night Aug. 30, 1978 at Speedway 117 (Chula Vista, CA) in CMC motocross competition. Tony was the CMC 125cc No. 1 in 1978. (James Brammer photo)
