The Lumberjack is down! Great Mitch Friedman capture of Rick Burgett (22) hitting the dirt at the start of the 1980 Seattle Supercross. It was too bad the “The Lumberjack” because being from the Pacific Northwest, this was his home Supercross race. I believe Honda’s Steve Wise (9) got caught up in the aftermath and went down as well. It looks like Broc Glover (11) is getting around cleanly on the outside. Mike Bell (3) and Danny LaPorte (5) are also trying to make their way around the crash. — @mitcho399 📷
