Junior Jackson Scores Morrison Hare Scrambles Victory (1987)

Junior Jackson wheelies his Suzuki RM250 through a creek on his way to winning the Morrison (Illinois) Hare Scrambles in September of 1987. Jackson, who was normally a motocross racer, took a weekend off to race the Hare Scramble event. It took him several kicks to get his Suzuki fired up, so it put him behind about 10 other riders at the start, but Jackson charged to the front of the field by the end of the race, finishing about a minute ahead of Jon Bush.
