Now this is a very cool flat track photo showing Freddie Spencer’s and Mike Kidd’s racers shot together at Ascot Park in 1981. Freddie’s Honda (left) was the early CX500-based machine, while Kidd’s was the Yamaha XV750-based rig. Two very cool experiments that had a lot of work put into them, yet never enjoyed that much success. (Dale Brown photo)
