You’ve got to love the spirit of Shane O’Connor in this photo from the 1996 Florida Winter AMA MX Series at Gatorback. Shane is clearly going down, but he still hasn’t accepted it. He’s keeping his head up, is still on the gas and is making every effort to will his bike back up from the point of no return. Robbie Skaggs (No. 44) went on to win this 125 A class race.
