Ron Blaine was in second and chasing down the leader Kevin Hudson when Ron tipped his Husky over at a creek crossing. While a little soggy, Ron got back on the trail and still managed to finish 2nd in the 250/Open Amateur class at the Stepp Mill Hare Scramble in Travelers Rest, South Carolina in August of 1987.
