George Brothers Score Photo Finish at Trail-Way Speedway (1987)

They might have been brothers, and even ran the nearly the same numbers, but Max and Eric George chose two different types of flat track machines. Max is on a Harley, while Eric raced a Triumph. In this July 1987 event, the two ran this close the entire race at Trail-Way Speedway in Hanover, Pennsylvania. They crossed the finish line side by side. After scorers consulted they gave the victory to Eric. (Len Breech photo)
