Riders lineup for the main event of the AMA Eastern Regional Championship Half-Mile in August of 1987 at Metrolina Speedway in Charlotte, North Carolina. On the front row are Ronnie Jones (16), Scott Stump (19), Martin Lavoie, (46), Will Davis (21), Darrin Erichsen (68) and Steve Morehead (42). On the second row are Dan McDonnell (74), Eric Rausch (96), Keith Jacobsen (90), Bryan Hardin, Rusty Rogers (57) and Don Estep (64). Morehead took the victory over Jones (who broke his finger in a crash earlier in the day) and Estep in third. (Bob Black photo)
