Rex Staten Wins at Rosarito Beach GP (1994)

Rex Staten racing his Kawasaki of Riverside KX500 in the Rosarito Beach Grand Prix Series race in Cantamar, Mexico, in March of 1994. Rex won all four motos in the two events he entered that weekend. So confident of his speed on the beach course, in the final moto of the day Rex lined up on the gate facing backwards. He still chased everyone down and won. (Chris Jonnum photo)
