Jay Springsteen racing in the ’89 Daytona 200 on a Yamaha FZ750. This may have been part of the SuperTeam financed by Jim France. The idea was to put top-name flat trackers on Superbikes in the 200. Things worked out well for Jay that race. He finished 10th and won an additional $5000 for being the top finishing AMA Grand National flat tracker.
