An interesting Yamaha ad from 1973 where the company admits of one engine breakdown during the AMA Grand National season. Granted that’s an excellent record over the course of an entire season of 15 flat track nationals, but do you think in this day and age any manufacturer would ever admit to a breakdown in a racing ad? Different times for sure.
